Help! I need to combat oily skin

Q. I have black skin which is often very oily and I don't want to look shiny in my photos. How can I keep it in check?

A. Olafemi Bela says: I find that most black skins can be prone to oiliness - and many women experience this problem on the t-zone area. For anyone with this issue I would recommend prepping your skin with a primer before applying foundation. Shine Controller Zero Oil from Origins is very effective. The MAC Studio Fix compact can also leave skin looking matte, just be careful not to apply too much, as this can appear less natural in photos. Simply keep a hint of natural glow on the highest part of your cheekbones to avoid this.
If you?re worried about controlling oily skin throughout the day, keep a packet of MAC Blot Film to remove any excess oil, without spoiling your overall make-up.
